1. Rent from reliable party rental companies; visit the company’s website and read their mission statement, view the events they have taken part in, read their previous customer’s testimonials. Call and book an appointment to speak to some one.

Ask for a Site Visit, if you are unsure of the size of tent or canopy that will suite your event, have a representative come out and measure your yard to better advice you on the size and type of structure that will suite you. Site visit fees may apply, depending on where you are located.
3. Schedule your deliveries accordingly when renting from multiple sources. For example don’t have the tent company deliver at the same time, as the sound/stage company; they both require large work area. The less traffic on site, the faster and safer a company can work.

Ensure that a decision maker is available on the day of delivery, to avoid having to move items after they have been dropped off.
5. Read the Terms and Conditions of the rental company when placing your order, in order to understand Your responsibilities while equipments are in your possession.
6. Treat the rental items as if they were your own property, so the next person can also enjoy them.
7. “You Get What You Pay For” When you opt for the cheaper supplier, don’t be surprise if the items arrive and are not in good condition. However when you pay a few dollars more for the same items else where, you can rest assure that your order will arrive in excellent working condition.
8. Renting party supplies is as easy as 1.2.3, you simply call and reserve your order, and it is delivered, setup, and picked up when you are finished with it.
9. Rental companies are always adding new items to their inventory, therefore if you cannot find a particular item on a company’s website give them a call before you move on to the next company. It might be available but not listed.
10. Reserve well in advance, hundreds of events take place every year in Ontario. To ensure the availability of any rental item, it’s important that you make reservations well in advance. Although you might get lucky and secure a tent the night before your event, but why leave the success of your event up to luck. One to two weeks notice is sufficient for a Small Size Event, Medium Size Events usually require at least two weeks notice, while Large Size Events require up to a month notice.
